Despite the relatively long history of
Chinese Metaphysics, which some say began around 2800 BC when
the mythical Fuxi first identified the principles of the Yi
Jing, this field remains far from mainstream.
To many, FengShui would
probably be the most familiar amongst the various Chinese
Metaphysics disciplines. This has been helped by the quick-fix
new age Fengshui where various ills can be warded by placing
specific objects in specific locations around the home or the
office.
In truth, while new age
Fengshui can help to some extent, one must draw on the
multiple disciplines across Chinese Metaphysics in order to
tap the full potential of one's individual capacity for wealth
and happiness.
